Reimagining Aotearoa Together.

Following the change in government to a right-wing coalition, it has become obvious to the union movement that we need to do things differently and try a new approach. The Council of Trade Unions (CTU) has been working on creating a positive vision for the future with the assistance of unions as part of our Reimagining Aotearoa Together project.

Over the last three months, over 30 forums have been held up and down the motu, primarily with union members, to gather ideas and feedback. The next step in this project is to open this discussion up to a wider audience, to anyone who wants to participate on whether we [Aotearoa] are heading in the right direction, and any ideas you might have on how to make Aotearoa a better place to live and work in.

There will be four online forums, hosted by CTU President Richard Wagstaff, held over the next month with a focus on a single key topic at each one. You are welcome to register for as many of these events as you would like, as the CTU is keen to have as broad a discussion as possible. The forum details are:

Together we can create a better future for all in Aotearoa, we just need to show up, imagine, and then take collective action for the future we want.
