Unis stop work this week.

Staff at six of Aotearoa’s eight universities will stop work for two hours this week to discuss progress with collective agreement negotiations.

These paid hui are for all staff covered by a collective agreement currently being negotiated in the university sector and you are entitled to attend unless arrangements have been specifically made with you “to enable the employer’s operations to continue.”

It’s vital that everyone participates. The decisions made at these hui will impact you and we are all stronger when we stand together.

If you work for a university, don’t forget to attend your local meeting. If you’re unsure when and where your meeting will occur, contact your organiser.
