Maranga Ake – Fight Back Together.

On 23 October, led by the Council of Trade Unions, tens of thousands of union members will come together, across Aotearoa, in mass paid union meetings to fight back against the Government’s ongoing attacks on workers’ rights.

The TEU is proud to be a part of this campaign and has issued paid union meeting notices to employers on all sites accordingly.

We are calling on all our members to come out in force and send a strong message to those in power that we demand better for tertiary education and for Aotearoa.

A full list of times and venues can be found here.

If there is no meeting in your city, keep an eye out for news from your branch about local events being organised by TEU.

This is the most anti-worker government that we’ve seen in decades. Through standing together and mobilising, we can demonstrate our power and show them that the union movement will not tolerate attacks on workers, the environment, the disabled and Te Tiriti.

See you on 23 October!
