NZIST (Te Pūkenga) – bargaining initiated.

Bargaining has been initiated (5 Feb 2026) for the renewal of the Kaimahi collective agreement, the largest collective we have, covering more than 2,500 members from Invercargill to Kaitaia. Members are organised, claims have been developed and the endorsement meetings are occurring over the last two weeks of February at all institutions.

This is a great time to have a chat with your non-union colleagues about joining – together we are stronger.
