National General Meeting.

TEU’s whāinga states that we reach our Goals through our collective strength and shared sense of purpose, which are supported through participatory democratic decision-making processes and structures – Tātou, tātou e.

So here’s one of those participatory moments: Te Hautū Kahurangi | Tertiary Education Union’s online National General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 25 June from 2-4pm.

The purpose of the National General Meeting, as set out in our Constitution, is to confirm the minutes of the previous NGM; receive and adopt the National Report; receive a presentation of the audited accounts of the union and approve the auditor for the year; propose any rules and policy or amendments or advancement at either National Conference or Council; and consider any other general business of the union.

If you are interested in attending as an official delegate, please contact your branch or network advisory group as they have been sent all delegate registration information. In addition, the meeting will be broadcast live on our Facebook page for any member who wishes to observe the meeting.

If you have any questions or queries, please reach out to teu@teu.ac.nz.
