Hannah Jenkin - VUW.

Kia ora, ko Hannah Jenkin toku ingoa. I am currently the Subject Librarian for Psychology and Biological Sciences at Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington; but like most university staff have held a range of positions, including tutoring and research roles.

I am an active union member, currently holding positions as a general staff rep on the Victoria University Branch Committee and general staff rep on the National Womens Committee, and previously a PSA Delegate when working at Wellington Public Libraries. My main union mahi is being very involved with our Pay Equity Claim for library and clerical staff, repping on the reference working group since its inception and organising events and promotions at THW-VUW.

It would be strategically useful to have member representation from the Pay Equity claim group on the National Women's Committee over next couple years when our action will be reaching its peak. I believe strongly in active membership and supporting work that addresses our member's issues, so would like to support the committee in this way.
