Artificial Intelligence Conference 2025.

Join us for Te Hautū Kahurangi | Tertiary Education Union's online conference on Artificial Intelligence and its implications for tertiary education, taking place on Friday 31 October from 9:00am to 3:00pm.

This event will critically explore how AI intersects with TEU's five mātāpono | purposes – Te Tiriti o Waitangi, decent work, equity, quality tertiary education, and environmental sustainability – creating space for members, educators, and researchers to examine both the opportunities and challenges AI brings to our sector.

The conference will provide a platform to collectively consider how AI can be shaped in ways that uphold our shared values, protect staff and students, and strengthen the future of tertiary education in Aotearoa New Zealand.
