Auckland University Students’ Association (AUSA) and Tertiary Education Union (TEU) have joined forces to organise a rally to send a strong message to government and the University of Auckland that they are disappointed in the continued underfunding of tertiary education nationwide and the gradual erosion of academic freedom and governance.
Join students, staff and public figures at the rally. Speakers confirmed include Professor Jane Kelsey (Law), Cris Shore (Anthropology), Alistair Shaw (New Zealand Union of Students’ Associations), John Minto (Mana Movement). Representatives from the Green Party and Public Services Association will also be present.
The host for this event will be political commentator, Martyn Bradbury.
